As part of the Mana Mele Project, Mana Maoli and its partner schools are seeking part-time afterschool music instructors and substitutes for a Mana Mele music class for the following schools across Oʻahu and Kauaʻi:

As part of the Mana Mele Project, Mana Maoli and its partner schools are seeking part-time afterschool music instructors for a Mana Mele music class for the following locations:

  • Pauoa Elementary in Honolulu, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30-3:30 pm, Gr. K-2
  • Hālau Kū Māna in Honolulu, Wednesdays, 3:45-5 pm and Fridays, 1:45-3:30 pm, Gr. 4-6
  • Mālama Honua in Waimānalo, Wednesdays, 1:45-2:45 pm & 3-4 pm, Gr. 2-4

A recent grant award has resulted in this opportunity to bring on a new team member in the capacity of Project Assistant, as part of our Mana Mele Project. Mana Mele teaches youth ‘ABC’s’ – Academics, Business, & Culture – through music and multimedia. Who is up for the exciting challenge of teaching youth Mana Maoli’s ‘ABC’s’ – Academics, Business, & Culture – through music?
As part of the Mana Mele Project, Mana Maoli and its partner school, Ka Waihona o ka Naʻauao Public Charter School in Nānākuli, seek a part-time afterschool music instructor for a Mana Mele afterschool music class on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:45-4:15 pm. Sticking to this current class schedule is preferred, but switching 1 or both days to Mondays and/or Wednesdays is possible. Students are in grades 5-8.
