Mana Maoli is a nonprofit serving primarily Native Hawaiian youth and communities through a sailing canoe program (Kanehunamoku Voyaging Academy), music program (Maoli Music), and grants/facilities support for Halau Ku Mana (HKM) Public Charter School.

Mana Maoli is now accepting applications for our “Overall/HKM” Office and Program Assistant. This position focuses on admin duties in support of HKM, and ‘overall’ office duties, which are tasks not specific to any one program. Examples of tasks and responsibilities for this position include:

Presenting Mana Maoli’s Music Academy and Mobile Studio!!

Cheeeehuuu, we’ve got AWESOME news to share!! Makahiki season blessings….Mana Maoli has just begun a project that includes:

  1. Building Hawaii’s first ever solar powered, community co-op Mobile Studio, with audio and video production capabilities.

  2. Creating and piloting curriculum toward Hawaii’s first Music and Multimedia Academy, where graduates will earn their high school diploma, are college and career ready and culturally grounded.

Kānehūnāmoku 10th Anniversary Gear

In celebration of Kānehūnāmokuʻs 10th anniversary, we have new gear for sale! Our theme is ʻaʻole o kana mai ka liʻu o ka paʻakai. There are many layers of meaning to this manaʻo…for starters liʻu is the like the ono of the salt. Anakala Eddie Kaanana shared with us that the paʻakai is our kupuna knowledge. ʻAʻole o kana mai…is a poetic way of saying wow, super, choke!
