Executive Assistant (EA) – Full Time

The Executive Assistantʻs primary kuleana is to support and assist the Executive Director as needed, which often means helping with a wide array of tasks, and supporting other staff who need it most on any given day.  

Kuleana:

  • Assist the Executive Director with administrative tasks as needed, including:
    • Communication/Coordination – i.e. Drafting/sending correspondence via email, text message, etc. to partners, funders and staff on behalf of the ED
    • Organization/Filing – i.e. Documenting and tracking status of own and EDʻs tasks and key correspondence (using Asana task management software)
    • Manage and oversee various google calendars
    • Assist with budgets, spreadsheets, and google

Community Outreach Manager & Mentor (COMM) – Full Time, or Part Time with an Assistant

The COMM will take lead on social media management and other forms of outreach, and provide training and oversight to both high school interns producing and managing content for their own schoolsʻ pages, and to college interns helping with Mana Maoliʻs and over a dozen artistsʻ and partnersʻ pages, to provide broader reach for student products, and content promoting Hawaiian values, culture, language, and other content aligned with MM and partnersʻ missions.

Kuleana (Job Duties):

– Social Media Management

  • Prepare/Schedule/Publish content to be shared across MM’s and partners’ social media outlets

Mana Maoli Seeks Part-Time Music Instructor

Bringing music to classrooms, Mana Maoli is currently looking to fill a teaching spot at NOELANI ELEMENTARY, available immediately, with a weekly schedule as follows:

MON 8:15-9, 9-9:45 am
WED, THUR, FRI 8:15-9, 9-9:45, 10:05-10:50 am
$25/hr, including 9.75hrs/wk prep time (8.25 hrs instruction, 1.5 hrs prep)

We will also be accepting applications for those interested in filling our guest kumu (‘substitute’) openings. Guest kumu (our preferred term over ‘substitutes’) would be on-call, as needed and available in the areas you live/work, at $30/hr for the following partner schools across Oʻahu and Kauaʻi.
